Programs
Structure that earns trust back, one phase at a time.
Recovery isn't one setting. Fresh Ground moves residents through three phases, loosening structure only as stability holds.
Stabilize
Weeks 1–4
Get safe, get a routine, get known. Highest structure, earliest curfew, daily check-ins.
- Daily check-in with house manager
- 90 meetings in 90 days encouraged
- Random testing 2–3× per week
- Basic needs: ID, phone, clothing, food
Build
Months 2–4
Work, therapy, and life skills. Structure loosens as accountability proves itself.
- Employment, school, or volunteering required
- Weekly one-on-one goal review
- Budgeting, cooking, and household skills
- Trauma-informed referrals and therapy support
Launch
Month 5+
Save, plan, and step out — with the door left open behind you.
- Savings plan toward first month + deposit
- Lease-readiness and credit coaching
- Alumni mentorship match
- Aftercare plan and standing check-ins
What's included
Support that runs alongside every phase.
Drug & alcohol testing
Randomized, observed, and non-punitive in intent. A relapse triggers a plan, not just an exit.
House meetings
Weekly, mandatory, resident-led. Conflict gets aired here rather than in the hallway.
Employment support
Résumés, interview prep, transportation, and relationships with local employers who hire in recovery.
Family involvement
Optional family calls and education so the people who love a resident know how to help.
Recovery pathways
12-step, SMART, faith-based, or clinical — we support the path that works, not one we prefer.
Trauma-informed care
Survivor-led leadership, referrals to trauma therapists, and staff trained on what shame does to people.
